CONSULTATION & DESIGN PREPARATION
We began with a thorough site survey to assess the driveway’s condition and discuss the homeowner’s preferences for finish and appearance. The area was carefully designed, boundaries marked, old or damaged Tarmac® removed, and vegetation or debris cleared. Existing structures such as kerbs, edging, or steps were protected or restored to ensure a clean starting point.

GROUNDWORK, SUB-BASE PREPARATION & DRAINAGE SOLUTIONS
The sub-base was fully inspected, with weak or unstable materials removed and replaced. Compaction and levelling were carried out to create a strong foundation. Drainage channels and gullies were cleared or installed where needed, and falls were adjusted to guide water away from the property, preventing pooling and safeguarding the surface against future drainage problems.
Tarmac® LAYING, COMPACTION & EDGE FINISHING
A fresh layer of hot Tarmac® was laid to the specified thickness and compacted using rollers for a durable, smooth finish that withstands domestic traffic. Borders and edges were neatly trimmed, with kerbs reinstated or repaired as required. This ensured the new driveway had strong, clean edges that blended seamlessly with paths, garden areas, or neighbouring surfaces.
